Petting Sitting Policies
Before You Leave:
All reservations must be confirmed 48 hours prior to service, by phone, text, or email.
When You Return:
All clients are to confirm their return to Ruff Ruff Ruff meow; otherwise I will continue to make visits to ensure the well being of your pet(s) at standard pet sitting rates.
Hours:
Pet Sitting visits are scheduled between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Midday visit for Working Pet Parents are scheduled between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday excluding holidays.
I will schedule a time for all pet sitting visits, but cannot guarantee it due to unforeseen circumstances or scheduling changes. On those occasions your visit could fall within an hour either way of your scheduled visit.
Visits:
Visits are between 15 - 30 minutes depending on your pets needs.
Making Reservations:
Please book early as I am only able to take a limited number of pets. I don't overbook as this is not fair to the pets I already have scheduled. I will try my best to accommodate any last minute emergencies but cannot guarantee it.
Cancellation of Pet Sitting Visits:
I do not charge a cancellation fee at this time, however I ask that pet sitting clients please provide 48 hours notice for all cancellations and/or date changes.
Payment:
Payment is due at the beginning of service.
Dogs:
Dogs require a minimum of 2 visits per day. Crated dogs and indoor dogs require a minimum of 3 visits per day.
Cats:
Cats must be seen once every 24 hours.
Rates:
For current rate information please view Rates page. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Service Agreement:
All clients are required to review and sign a Service Agreement before any pet sitting services begin.
Vaccinations:
All pets must be current on their vaccinations.
Vaccines required for dogs: Distemper/PARVO and Rabies.
Vaccines required for cats: Feline Distemper and Rabies
I also accept and recommend a titer test in lieu of vaccinating your dog for Distemper/PARVO. Please click here to learn more about titer tests. http://www.dogs4dogs.com/blog/2008/10/22/titer-test/
Alternately, I will accept a letter from your veterinarian excluding your adult dog from vaccinations due to underlying illness or age.
Aggressive Dogs:
I believe that your dog is a treasured member of your family. However, not all dogs are suitable candidates for in-home pet care. If your dog has a history of bitting, growling, nipping or snapping, kenneling may be a safer and more appropriate choice, or you may want to ask a family member who is familiar with your dog to provide care. The temperament of each dog regardless of prior history will be evaluated at our Meet & Greet.
