Reno Pet Sitting FAQ
Q: What time will you come to my home?
A: AM visits take place between the hours of 7a.m. & 11a.m., and PM visits between 4p.m. & 8p.m.
Q: Do you require my pet to be current on its vaccines?
A: I require pets to be current on their rabies titer/vaccine. A certificate must be provided at the initial Meet & Greet.
Q: Do you have boarding facilities at your home?
A: No. City/County zonings do not permit for this in my neighborhood.
Q: Do you offer overnight visits in my home?
A: No. I am sorry I do not offer this service.
Q: My pet has been aggressive in the past - can it still be a client?
A: Please see the Dangerous/Aggressive Animals section of my website.
Q: Can I just give you my garage door opener/code?
A: I will accept an opener or code if that is the way you would like me to enter your home. However, I require a physical key as well.
Q: I have a last minute trip suddenly come up! Can you help me?
A: I will always try to help you on short notice, but I cannot guarantee availability if there is very little time before your service begins. I regularly
book up completely at major holidays and end up turning away last minute callers.
Q: What does it mean that you are insured?
A: I carry a liability insurance policy that protects you from financial loss in the event I am liable for accidents that occur while caring for your pets.
Any responsible professional business should carry liability insurance.
Q: What does it mean that you are bonded?
A: A dishonesty bond gives you peace of mind that you will be reimbursed if anything is stolen from your home. You should make sure that any
workers who enter your home carry a dishonesty bond.
Q: What will you do if my pet becomes ill while I am away?
A: If I suspect that something is wrong with your pet, I will call you at the emergency phone numbers I have on file for you. I will describe the
situation with your pet. If you believe the veterinarian should see your pet, I will transport your pet to the veterinarian's office for examination
and treatment. In the event I cannot reach you, I will decide if your pet should be seen by the veterinarian. If necessary, I will take your pet for
treatment. You will be billed for any extra time I spend for these services.
Q: What should I expect when I return home?
A: You can expect to find your pets healthy and happy, as well as an impeccably maintained home. You will find a note from me. The note will
give a report on how everything went while you were away. When you arrive home, you need to call or email me to let me know you've returned.

Please Note:
Many homes have both dogs & cats, that require differing levels of attention. In these cases, I am sometimes asked to look after the dogs only.
It is my policy to give attention to all of the pets in a household to avoid the possibility that a pet requiring veterinary care or other critical
assistance not be ignored.
